How to submit your fundraising donations

Your fundraising for NDCS is very much appreciated. To make the process of sending in donations as easy as possible, you can choose to do this online or by post.

Online

You can also send funds raised through the NDCS website using a credit or debit card.

  • Using the online donation form, fill in your details and use the name and address of the unit instead of your home address.
  • In the section that asks: "What prompted you to donate?" you should click "B - An NDCS appeal" and then choose "Girlguiding UK Hands up" if this information is not already pre-filled.

By following this procedure, we'll be able to track your donation quickly and easily so that we can add it to the ongoing Listening Bus target totaliser.

By post

Download and complete this donation form, enclose a cheque and send them to:

Schools Officer
National Deaf Children’s Society

Please remember to include the donation form so that we can process your donation.

Our Rainbows 9th Rotherham, Bramley have raised £100 and made their Parents very proud of them. They have had a great time working for this project and can now sign their names and promise. They love singing the Rainbow song Red and yellow and pink and green... etc. We will keep on signing and singing Great project to work on as it makes the girls more aware of children that are different to them and how they can help them.

As a guide unit we had a loud night at our annual camp some of the costumes were VERY loud - lol. We also had a teddy bear's picnic on our local rugby field but we got rained off in the end. All together we raised £52.40 towards your charity.

2nd Dudley St Francis Rainbows raised £86 by doing a sponsored silence. We also had a manicure night, a mini deaf olympics which we had great fun doing and also we have had a lady from the local school who has taught us how to sign the promise and the rainbow song. Some of the girls also performed the promise in front of their parents and were awarded their promise badges. Rainbows had great fun with this project.

Our Brownies had a wacky clothes night which was really exciting. Everyone had great fun dressing up in odd clothes and we raised £50 for Hands Up project. Our older girls really enjoyed designing the Listening Bus and we also had a speaker from NDCS which was very interesting. We also learned to sign our Promise which was required much concentration. An excellent project for a very vital cause. We hope that NDCS receives a very good response in donations.

Our Rainbows raised £242 by completing a sponsored silence. Before the event we had a fantastic time participating in the deaf awareness activities. We had a Hands up Nail Night, learning how to sign the promise and played many games using only signing. This is an excellent project and we hope that NDCS can raise the funds they were looking for. Our unit certainly enjoying being part of it and put together a powerpoint presentation so we can revisit how we took part in changing the world.

Our Brownies had great fun designing funky rubber and wooly gloves and putting on a fashion show for their parents as well as showing them the signing we had learnt. We had a bake sale at the end too. It was a great way to involve our parents and the children love the fact that they can sign their promise now. We had two Brownies making their promise this way at one of our meetings. We raised £120.25.
